Common Misconceptions of Working with a Recruitment Agency
24th Aug, 2016
With over a decade of experience in the recruitment world, we’ve gotten to know it pretty well and can’t help but notice some of the ideas people get into their heads about the process of finding agency work. Well, we’d like to clear up some of those misconceptions right now…
A recruitment agency is only for healthcare professionals who struggle to find work themselves
On the contrary, working with a recruitment agency still requires a certain level of work from our candidates, particularly when it comes to ensuring your documents and training is up to date. Working with us isn’t for ‘lazy job hunters’, it’s for those who want to open up as many opportunity channels as possible, maximising their potential for finding the perfect roles and not settling for less.
Recruitment agencies will try to take your money
Most people don’t realise that our service is completely free of charge to our candidates. Additional charges may incur for any necessary training/document retrieval, but these are no different to what you would pay outside of working with us.
Your World is paid by the clients we work with seeking healthcare staff, not by the candidates we place.
Recruitment agencies don’t provide real jobs
Your World is a framework approved agency, which means we adhere to strict guidelines for recruiting healthcare professionals, set by professional bodies and government codes of practice. This allows us to place healthcare professionals into both public and private sector clinical settings, ensuring a reliable and trust-worthy service to our candidates. Every job we advertise is therefore very real!
All recruitment agencies are the same
At Your World, we believe in bringing back what other agencies have lost over the years; a personable, honest, friendly and professional service dedicated to bringing our candidates high quality positions. We take the time to listen to each individual healthcare professional we work with, creating bespoke recruitment packages around their needs. Your World will treat you as a person who is making a genuine difference to healthcare and never as just another link in our chain.
My recruitment consultant won’t listen to me…
Recruitment Consultants at Your World have been specifically trained to understand the needs of their candidates and create bespoke packages around them. We pride ourselves on exceptional service and the high level of healthcare professionals thrilled with their experience with us. Don’t believe us? Contact our team today and start a Your World experience of your own; you won’t regret it!
