Your World at the UKRC 2016 - Another great event!
13th Jun, 2016
Specialist Radiography Recruiter, Gary Young, gives his thoughts on the UKRC Conference that took place 6-8 June 2016...
Our team recently attended the UKRC (UK Radiography Congress) at the ACC in Liverpool.
As an agency, the conference gave us a fantastic opportunity to meet new and exciting clients face-to-face. Having been in recruitment for a number of years, I am a firm believer that building relationships is key, and attending the conference really helped us expand our communication with a number of clients and candidates.

UKRC also gave us a great opportunity to discuss the current situation within the NHS and private sector, (the lack of Radiographers being trained here in the UK) which clients were keen to talk to us about. It was also very enlightening to find out the number of students who were unaware of the locum opportunities available to them directly after graduating. After explaining this to them, the response from students was very positive, which is fantastic for our agency as well as NHS hospitals looking for British trained radiographers.
Overall, the conference was successful and we look forward to attending UKRC in future years to meet more clients and candidates.
