Your World Charity Football Match

On Friday 22nd May, our London staff participated in a once in a lifetime opportunity to play at White Hart Lane, home of the famous Tottenham Hotspur Football club in an event created for our chosen charities, Teenage Cancer Trust and the JDRF Diabetes.

Our staff were split into two teams and given the full match day experience. This included home and away kits (which they got to keep!), access to the club dressing rooms, full referee and linesman officials, an official match ball and access to a stand for family and friends to watch and cheer on!

To expand the potential amount we could raise for our charities, we created an internal betting centre where non-playing staff could place bets on who they believe would be first goalscorer, winning and losing teams and even who would be first to get booked!

A full 90 minute match was played out with one team narrowly taking home a 4-3 win and bragging rights back to the office.

Also included was a raffle, which included an iPod Nano, some champagne and signed football memorabilia.

The highlight of the day was, of course, raising a fantastic £1006 for our two charities. Our total amount raised for the year so far now stands at £23,371.41!

A huge thank you to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club for their great hospitality and also a congratulations to our staff for lasting the full 90 minutes!
