Job IntroductionAre you a Band 5 Community Nurse looking to progress your career? Your World Healthcare has an exciting full time role available in Reading that you won't want to miss!
We're looking for a highly organised, passionate and friendly Community Nurse to provide outstanding care to the local community in Reading. As an experienced and qualified professional, you will take on a range of duties for your patients, including administering medication, cleaning wounds and changing dressings, assisting with doctors' examinations, catheterisation, setting up IV drips and giving injections, such as insulin.
Our ideal candidate
To be the ideal candidate for this role, you will be extremely professional and organised, with previous experience working in a community nursing job (ideally 1 year). As this has the potential to be a high-pressured role, you must be able to act calmly in stressful or difficult situations and treat each patient with respect and sensitivity.
Your ability to communicate will be second to none when working with patients, their loved ones and your co-workers. The job involves travelling from patient to patient, so a full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
You must be a fully qualified nurse with a current NMC registration. A district nursing qualification is also desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Full nursing qualifications
- NMC registration
